Open the text file on your phone or computer, fill in a copy or print it to take measurements. Do not disturb a supporting post to obtain a sample. Mark uncertain measurements rather than guessing.
Photographs to include
- A full-length, square-on view of the reference post.
- Close-ups of the upper and lower turning and any rail connection.
- A wider view showing adjoining posts and decoration.
