How to Choose a Timber Verandah Post
Start with the profile. V1, V2 and V3 use longer decorative turned layouts with square ends. V4 and V5 have an upper turned section and a longer square lower section. For a straighter layout, compare V6; for a decorative column, compare V7 and its available options. Check each photograph against your existing post when matching a replacement.
Measure the whole post. Record the overall length and square section, then the top and bottom clearances. For a railing connection, include its position and dimensions. Product diagrams show the section layout, but custom lengths should be confirmed with the workshop.
Check preparation and delivery. Read the painting instructions and delivery information. Confirm the required finished dimensions and suitability with your builder before ordering.

Select an overall length of 2400, 2700, 3000, 3300 or 3600 mm and a square section of 88, 112 or 135 mm from the options. Check the dimensions and turning profile against your project before ordering.
